Copy and Paste
(Cut & Paste)

OK, you got an e-mail with a cute story or joke and you want to share it. Again, Please don't just forward it. If it's good enough to share, keep it clean.
E-Mails that get forwarded get a < for each time it is forwarded. It can get pretty sloppy after a few.

You can do this two ways.

If you want to send the whole e-mail:

    1. Go up to "Edit"
    2. "Select All"
    3. "Copy"
    4. Open new E-Mail
    5. Back to "Edit"
    6. "Paste"

Easier:

    1. Hold down your "CTRL" key on keyboard and hit the "a"
    2. Next Hold down your "CTRL" key and hit the "c"
    3. Open new E-Mail
    4. Hold down your "CTRL" key and hit the "v"

If you learn to use those "Keystrokes", it really does save you time. It might seem a bit awkward at first, but you will find in time a way to do it without even looking. It becomes "second nature".

And, if you do NOT want to send the "whole thing":

Put your cursor (mouse) at the beginning of the part you want to copy
Left click your mouse and drag it across everything you want to copy,
Then let go of the mouse button.

Then "Copy"
Then "Paste"
Using the method your prefer

Then just use either of the above methods for copying and pasting.
I'm hoping you'll work with the "Keystrokes". These really do make it easy.

Do Yourself, Your Family and Your Friends a favor and use the above. Pass it along to them. I believe this to be one of the most important things you can learn. Especially keeping people's addys private.
