Configuring Your Desktop

Tab 3 - Appearance

First, look down and left to where you see "Item: "Desktop" on the "screenshot". If it does NOT say "Desktop", use the "dropdown" list and click it. Yes, you can get creative. Above that, if you use the drop down, you'll see lots of "schemes". Keep trying until you get one YOU Really Like. I use "Slate", if you're interested.

You can also change font sizes there in the next box down.

Now, where it says "Color" and the little black square on the Screenshot, That's where you can pick a solid Background Color.
Warning
If you pick black, it won't get real black the first time. Just go back in and do it again. {smiles}
