Formatting a Floppy Disk

This is another easy one!!

First, this is one of the few things I can't find to do on my Explore Window {smiles}
Insert the floppy

First Double Click on "My Computer" icon on your "Desktop"

Highlite "Floppy" by clicking on it once
Go up to "File"
Down to "Format"

You should see this screen:

First, I usually delete all the files on it, if there are any.

I usually use the "Full", but you can use what you think best suits your needs. Try them.
I don't think it will hurt them, if they aren't already.
Click on "Start" button

I also like to get the report window at right, so I know if there are any "Bad Sectors" in the floppy. Or should I say "How Many?" {smiles}

That's it. Close each window, of course.
Always use some common sense, K?
I tend to leave off "little things" like that.
